I'll be primarily logging my pink and teal Land Tama Paradise. It will also include info about my already running Blue Water Tamagotchi Paradise from the first log. I hope you enjoy! :)
And now onto my Tama Paradise adventures...
October 25, 2025: Today is the day finally! I have my pink and green Tamagotchi Land Paradise here and I'm finally putting the batteries in! I've been sick for a while so I delayed doing this until I was ready.
Unlike my last log I have been thinking about a name for my planet for quite a while because I am bad at names. I eventually decided on "Planet Serenity". I chose this for two main reasons. The first is the definition which matches my feelings whenever I play with Tamagotchi. The second reason why I chose Serenity is because that is the name of the ship in the TV show Firefly. When I first saw that show many years ago I didn't enjoy it much - but I realized in time it was because of the person I watched it with. Years later, I have watched Firefly so many times, including the movie, and I so love it. What a shame it never got more episodes.
Aahhhh well, I swerved off the road there. Here is the definition of Serenity..
Serenity - "The state of being calm, peaceful, and untroubled."
Babymarutchi hatched at 3:21pm. They are very needy in this stage, but I played games and made sure he was happy without calling for attention.
Here's pictures of his status after I fed and played with him.
And here's a picture of his belly and Planet Serenity's status.
And here's cute lil Babymarutchi eating.. There's so many super cute animations on the Tamagotchi Paradise that I just want to take an endless amount of pictures!
At 4:27 Babymarutchi changed into Land Kid! He's so cute!!
The first thing I did after he changed to Land Kid was go on the egg hunt at the volcano to get some varieties of foods. The volcano is so cute with his little face. I love that Tamagotchi has little faces on everything.
I have no idea how to get 5 eggs but how cool is it that he got 5 eggs on his very first run?!
And the eggs hatch to reveal... no carrots?! Ahhhh, well... not exactly what I was hoping for, but that's okay. We will figure this out.
I am guessing that foods gotten from these egg hunts are the foods that affect your Tamagotchi's adult form. Or at least has some sort of role in it. I haven't enough experience to be conclusive though. There is a separate section in the Lab for cooking foods from the Egg Hunt items into meals. There's another area for pre-made foods I can buy. Some of them are the same as the ones that Egg Hunt items can be used for cooking recipes. I feel like food is a big deal on evolution because after eating so much of one food, it appears in the Tama belly at a microscopic level.
The microbiome seems to be a key to growth. It's the only thing that seems to make sense. I have been feeling for a while that food will determine the character you get. They did that on TamagotchiUni on the downloaded content. When I got Leopatchi on my Water Tama I gave him worms mostly and bugs - something my own bearded dragon eats. As a result, I got the Leopard Gecko so I am feeling like this is something that is an important factor. There's no discipline.. but the gut microbiome contents at the cellular level show the types of food. And there's like a swirly thingy that shows up whenever I do a care mistake. So I am feeling like tummy contents is a big key to this all. Someday I will search out a growth chart (there's got to be one by now I assume) - but I enjoy figuring out things myself. And I might get stuff wrong in these logs. I'm just enjoying my TamaTime! :)
I have this theory that of all the foods available I think Mimitchi will come to me if I feed him carrots. None of the other stuff makes me think of Mimitchi. While his ears are actually a hat (shhhh.. that's a secret), he still acts like a bunny and has a little tail like a bunny, and his lil mouth is like a bunny. Bunny rabbits eat carrots. I hope I can get him.
Last time I did carrots on a land character I got Mametchi... so I believe that Mimitchi needs some care mistakes. I am unsure. I might be totally wrong here.. The fun of figuring things out is part of the fun of Tamagotchi for me. :) I am sure this answer is out there but I can wait. :)
I am noticing this evening that my lil guy has a big piece of meat in his microbiome. I think I made a mistake with his eating before I could get carrots.
So before he went to bed, Leopatchi on the Water Tama Paradise, gifted Land Kid 7 carrots. It was dark, I didn't make video of it. I hope I can change things around with carrots, if not.. I look forward to whomever I get regardless. They are all cute creatures. :)
Oh and they did a playdate too, in which they both seemed awkward and a little shy hehe. :) I didn't get video of that either. Tomorrow I will do some videos when there's some good lighting. For now, off to sleep for me!
October 26, 2025: I woke up very early today and woke up my Land Kid early as well. I expect him to change today too.
The first thing on my mind this morning was finishing the photos from the first day, haha. And making some videos. :)
A bit of coffee and then I had to attend to the pets. First my three Eastern Lubber Grasshoppers and Gem my Bearded Dragon. Next I had to take care of both TamagotchiUni - Mimitchi and NPocham (nope, that's not a typo. He's from Kawaisouni Land!) Next I had to take care of both Tamagotchi Mixes - Blue Mimitchi and my Butterfly girl. And finally Tamagotchi Meets - Kimiritchi, whom I'm still trying to find a date for her. I love all of these folks so much :)
I really wanted to take video of my two Tama Paradises interacting. So the first video I took was of me trying to connect both Paradises and take video at the same time. I feel like I needed another hand. When you open the shells to connect them at the top, the shell tops go underneath. So basically you can't lay the two Tamas flat. I put one Paradise on the table and held the other while doing the buttons with one hand. It worked out okay. I'm going to post some images, then I'll post the video too.
So here's the photos from when I tried to do this alone. Sorry for the photo sizes, I didn't want to make it so small you can't see it on a phone clearly.
Here they are, so cute together. They are much happier on this time around - no shyness here anymore! This was the 6th connection.
Next I just have the video of doing the 8th Playdate. This time around I had my roommate hold the Land Tama and I held the Water Tama. It worked out much better this time. :)
Right after I published this log, my lil guy decided it was time to change haha. That's good, I had this open just waiting for him to make the change into his Toddle Young self. He's so cute when he stands on just his back legs like that!
Right after he changed, Planet Serenity got to Level 2 and looks a little different now.
I compared his microbiome before and after his change... and nothing at all changed. All of the progress up until his change carried forward into his teen stage. No care mistakes, but I definitely messed up on that meat.
I am going to guess that Suns are care events, verses tornado/wind are care mistakes? I am not sure. I assume the Onigiri represent other foods that haven't been fed multiple times and/or also food from Babymarutchi stage. I am thinking both. I'll have to put my notes together and compare to what the rest of the internet came up with. Not just yet, but someday. I will probably laugh at my guesses when I do look - and please laugh with me. I love trying to figure things out with Tamagotchi, always have. While I had the internet back in the mid 90s, the internet did not have these answers. It was such a different, and in many ways better, world back at that time. Anyway...
The rest of the evening was pretty quiet, so now that he is in bed.. it's time for me to sleep too.
October 27, 2025: Well, today is Monday. Monday's are busy days for me. I don't pause my Tamas but they do go off to the sitter or home often on this day. Usually I don't have time to do anything special outside of other stuff. So I apologize but Monday's will likely always be like this.
However, I do have one update. This afternoon my Land Tama Paradise reached the adult stage.
And yes it was Mametchi.
I have now realized the error of my thinking pattern. Prolly everyone else figured this out sooner, But I am coming to the belief that food only(?) really affects what teen character I get. Then from there... I believe is maybe all good old fashioned caretaking mistakes. I don't like neglecting my little buddies so it's always difficult to do, but it would seem I have to. I don't know why I was stuck on that idea of carrots = Mimitchi... I just want Mimitchi so much. :) But I want Mimitchi without looking up how to get Mimitchi, you know? I got him in 1997 without help so I guess I am weird like that haha :). So Bandai made it so I can get him but he's not top of the list. Challenge still accepted. :)
So yeah after doing it 2 times, I am 100% certain that Mametchi is the top character that comes from Toddle species. I also believe that Leopatchi is the top character for the Lick species. I am not certain about Kuraratchi or Oretatchi because I wasn't watching the cells that closely because everything was so new and shiny. I'm paying attention better now haha. :)
Of course, now comes the harder part... making care mistakes. This Tama is SO easy to care for. I think even easier than Uni and that says a whole lot, right? When it comes to the Tama character needing things.. the frequency is very low. I'm going to have to outright ignore them for hours I think.. arrgh.
That is my thought process this evening. Tomorrow I'll post a picture of Mametchi and go from there. I am not too much into the idea of gene mixing them yet - I just want to get some of the characters that are brand new to the Paradise. I love the types of characters that Bandai chose to include in this Tama. The mixing genetics feature is a nice bonus because I like that on the Mix and Meets Tamagotchi - but it always sucked to only get a chance at an original character only on the first try. So Tama Paradise integrates both options and I just love this idea. I hope Bandai includes both options into all further Tamagotchi they release after this one.
Edit: A few hours later...
Okay I'm going to get this stuff in here.
First off, in getting Mametchi, Planet Serenity reached level 3.
This is what Mametchi's belly looked like right after he changed into Mametchi. The tummy kept the progress up until that point. I noticed on my Leopatchi that I kept for around 26 days, his belly kept the progress too up until he changed.
Okay, so more tomorrow. I'm behind on photos, to be posted soon.
October 28, 2025: Alright, I got my coffee with vanilla creamer, extra hot. Join me for a coffee, friend.
While I did figure out in my first log that what area you raise them in determines what type of pet you will get, I also have realized that in the belly you got bubbles or leaves or clouds depending on which area you raise him in and you can get all 3 of them within the belly, where ever your Tama played in the most will grow you a character from that region. Right before they change, the cell absorbs the area Babymarutchi spent the most time in. After they change they have only the elements from the area that will determine what set of characters you will get.
Basically I believe this is how the Tama determines rather your character will be a water character, sky character, or land character. After that, the character list is limited to the specific species that live in the area your Tama is determined to have spent most of his time during the Babymarutchi stage. That could also be why the Babymarutchi stage varies in length. I'm not sure yet. Too much time in other areas might make it longer? I am guessing here. And of course I may or may not be wrong haha.
It's time to say goodbye to Mametchi. This did happen yesterday, but I wasn't ready to put it all together.
And we say goodbye to Leopatchi.. I love him, I hope to see him again someday.
I have video of my planet reaching Level 5. That wasn't my reason for recording, but hey I was happy I could get it.
My lil guy got sick, so I had to fight off the bugs that invaded his body.
After I hatched a new egg yesterday, I kept track of the cells in their belly a little bit.
Here's the progression of Land Tama's belly. First we have the empty microbiome. Then we have 1 bubble because I'm raising him in the water.
Next we have 3 bubbles and 1 leaf. I did that on purpose. And the last photo on the right shows Land Tamas belly right after he changed into Glide Young. The bubbles being the majority, made sure he would grow into a water character.
And now let's go on to my Water Blue Paradise. I took some pics of his microbiome too while in Babymarutchi stage. This first one shows just the 1 leaf as he started off on Land. The second shows 3 in his tummy, 2 leaves and one cloud. I did this on purpose to see if my theory rang true about cells in the belly deciding rather the character will be Water, Land, or Sky.
Next we have 2 leaves, 1 cloud, and 1 bubble. And the last photo on the right shows my Water Tamas belly right after he changed into Land Kid. The Leaves being the majority determined he would grow into a water character.
In trying this on both of my newly hatched guys, it tells me that it is likely to be true about what determines the type of character Babymarutchi will grow into. :) I'll keep an eye on it in the future to be sure.
During this process I tried to get care mistake on each Tamagotchi. It's too easy to get the top characters and I really would love to see others. Especially Mimitchi.
Interestingly, I hatched the 2 new eggs within 3 minutes of each other, yet both transitioned to the Kid character at very different times.
My Blue Tama was hatched at 12:56pm and changed at 2:45 - 1 hour and 49 minutes in the Babymarutchi stage! Which is way longer than the original Tama's of course.
My Pink Tama was hatched at 12:59pm and changed at 3:42 - 2 hours and 43 minutes in the Babymarutchi stage! I am not sure why this Pink Tama took so much longer than the Blue Tama. I cared for them both at the same time. Things that make you go "hmm".
October 29, 2025: Today was another busy day and I was trying my best to ignore my Tamagotchi Paradises so I don't get the top characters, so I don't have a lot to report on them. Every day and every time they change I take them on Egg Hunts. You can play more than once a day if your character changes that same day. I play games and feed them as usual. I don't feed them snacks, I enjoy the games so I haven't experimented with the idea if snacks do or do not affect the characters growth.
My guys did both change today! I'm happy to say that. We are well on our way to getting different characters!
This is Toddle Young and Glide Young! I've never seen the Glide species.
Next for some reason I took a picture after each of them poo'd and were not happy with me for neglecting them. Sorry buddies, I can't get new peoples without a little bit of neglect. Poor lil guys. I wish there were different mechanics for getting different characters that don't involve neglect. But it is what it's always been on the Original 1990s Tamagotchi.
And lastly here are pictures of each of their cells right after they changed to the Young forms.
October 30, 2025: I love taking pictures of these guys. Bandai did a great job of bringing out their cuteness! In previous 1990s logs I didn't have so many pictures. I just can't help but want to share how adorable all of these characters are! I hope I am not overdoing it!
These were the last two pictures I took of Glide Young and Toddle Young. They are both very cute.
My Blue Tamagotchi Paradise was the first to change to adult. At 2:45pm I am rewarded with - Mimitchi!! :) :) :) Also, Planet Odyssey changed to Level 9. I think there's only 10 levels, but I can't remember where I saw that or if I'm just misremembering something haha.
I was absolutely shocked and thrilled when I looked over at my Tama and saw Mimitchi appear!! I love him so much, he's so expressive and fun. I love all the Mimitchi's. I wonder if the characters can stay indefinitely like on TamagotchiUni? I hope so. I would love to keep him.
This is what Mimitchi's microbiome looked like right after changing. So he is the second character on the growth chart for Toddle species. I am assuming that care mistakes are mostly responsible for the evolution (like the 90s originals). I just mostly fed Carrots, which I think is also relevant. I had extra carrots saved up from previous characters and I also gifted them from my Pink Land Tama so he would have plenty to eat while going through the growth stages. I tried to ignore him until he beeped and then ignored him a while longer until I saw a swirly tornado appear in his tummy, then I stopped neglecting and went back to caring 100%. It worked out, and I am SO happy it did. :) :)
After getting my planet to level 8, I noticed I can do 2 egg hunts a day with different characters, which is super helpful!!
At 6:17 this evening Glide Young changed into Kametchi! He looks like a sea turtle. Turtles are so cute! I would have them as pets but I really don't have room for them in my house, sadly.
I pretty much did the same thing with this lil guy as I did raising Mimitchi. Though I had a variety of foods and I wasn't sure what I should feed him.. so I just fed him seafood, mostly shrimp as you can see from his belly. I love seafood. I did the one care mistake and pretty much treated him the same as Mimitchi. :)
There's only one thing that I am not 100% sure on. I did do a care mistake, but I am not sure if that second care mistake got in before he changed or after. I am not even sure it would make a difference. So to get the healthiest character you must have 0 care mistakes. The second guy is 1-2 mistakes? Maybe? Usually it leaves some room for mistakes in the characters under the top character. So I think that my Kametchi is the second in the growth list for Glide Species. Because I treated him same as Mimitchi (who is second on the Toddle list, I am 100% sure), I am inclined to believe that Kametchi is also second on the Glide character list for Land. That second care mistake is the only one that makes me question myself lol..
Here you see how Mimitchi greeted me after I exited the Tamagotchi Lab. I love him. Then that little happy face!!
Isn't he just the cutest Tama? I love him so much, I'm so happy to have him on Paradise!
And finally I just wanna show you how cute they are when they sleep :)
November 15, 2025: I like keeping characters for a while. For instance, my Mimitchi on TamagotchiUni is nearly a year old now. And sadly my Blue Mimitchi on my Mix, who meant a lot to me, passed away just 4 days short of a year just recently. :(
I like to keep Tamas for a while. I don't know how long these characters on Paradise can live for, but they are pushing 20 days now. Very soon I will hatch another and keep going. Though I hesitate about Mimitchi. I really want to keep him! But I also want to meet all of these other people on Paradise. I wonder how long I can keep them? Maybe I will keep Mimitchi for a while longer.
I love that I can choose to keep characters forever on Uni, Mix, and Meets. That was always my one wish on my original MimitchiTamagotchi.
I still have Mimitchi and Kametchi. I really love turtles (and really all animals) and I am so happy that Bandai chose to make these characters all animals.
I took some video during this time in which I didn't do any updates, so I am going to post those here for you to see. :)
I have 2 videos in which my characters connected. The day I made those videos my hands were not very steady. As you may (or may not) know, I had surgery on my right hand earlier in the year. My hand just hasn't been the same since - but at least I can type on the computer without pain now. So I had very shaky hands in these 2 videos here. I thought maybe you would want to see them any ways.
In this one, Mimitchi and Kametchi find they compatible and I am asked if I want them to breed. I said "No" because at the time I didn't want to give up my Mimitchi. But it sure was cute seeing all of them hearts. :)
I really like the original Arrow Game on this Tama. It's not that the other games aren't good, because I play them too... I just love the nod to the original Tama :)
And Mimitchi playing the game, too. Isn't he just adorable?
I so enjoy how I can put toys outside for them to interact with. At the time, no one was in the boxing ring with Mimitchi. Mametchi has joined him on occasion - it's just goofy fun, I really enjoy these extra items. :)
I still have these guys and I guess I will end up hatching new eggs this week. Or at least on the pink one I'll do a new egg on. :)
Oh, and I ordered a blue Tamagotchi Paradise lanyard! It's on the way to me. As well as an Avocado Tamagotchi - it's partially a green clear. :)
November 17, 2025: Today is the day! While it is Monday, a busy day for me, I needed some cheering up so I decided I would hatch a new egg on my Pink Land Tama Paradise.
So this evening at 4:38 I had my lil Turtle put out to the field and got a new egg. I decided since I've only seen 1 Sky character that I would change fields and raise Babymarutchi in the clouds so I can get a Sky character.
At 5:44 my Babymarutchi changed into Sky Kid. I realized that I only had Water food, so I gave him a couple of seaweed, then went on the Egg Hunt. He got some sky food. I have not really thought about what food to feed him.. so at first I fed him 2 cherries. I love cherry! After that, I fed him 1 corn. I was thinking that at that point I would not feed anything specific until tomorrow when I could get more cherries.
I went ahead and checked his tummy cells to find.. a corn already showing?! But he only ate 1! Well there are some mysteries that I have not figured out yet. I am figuring that every food item is worth so many points (??).. so I guess 1 corn is worth 3 cherries? Lots of new things to learn here.
So at this point I have decided I will feed him mostly corn, since that seems to be the path he is going to take. Thankfully I have 3 corns left. Tomorrow hopefully I will get more.
I don't have any pictures for you, but I did record the hatching. Sorry for the small pause toward the end, my finger slipped and pressed it briefly.
Occasionally I upload a video of one of my other Tamagotchi, so if you are interested in Tamagotchi in general you might be interested in my youtube channel. If so, please subscribe :)
I'm off for the day. More to come. :)
