Hello! I hope you are your Tama's are doing well. :)

I have some exciting news, yes more... I have another project. Yes I have now 2 projects I'm working on. One of them you can figure out looking at my Instagram. But the other... I don't even know what to say. I mean I am really into Paradise right now. But I may have to put even them on hold for a while. This other Tama.. it's different.

The only hints I can give you are.. I have not had this Tama before, it is a 1998 Tama, I don't have any other like it, it is definitely my holy grail, and I never ever in my entire life expected to get this Tamagotchi. So much so I am not sure how much I've even mentioned it in the past as it just wasn't in the cards for me.

I am still in shock.

When it gets here in the mail I will be sure to talk about it here!

I want to mention I have obtained more characters I like on Paradise! I mentioned my Iguanatchi and I haven't let him go yet. I also got the cutest lizard in the bunch - the Chameleotchi! As someone who has watched the movements of real Chameleons in videos, the movements for this Tama character are perfect and so on point! Adorable!

I also got the Frilled Lizard, Elizardotchi, he is cute with his little tongue but sadly I think he looks a lot like a strange lion. But the tongue.. is so cute. :)

I still have my Mimitchi, who is 324 years old!

And I have Kabutotchi - a familiar insect character from Morino!

Also I have Kachitchi, a blue and white bird. I love his colors, but his eyes have these weird thing they do turning into crosses and it kinda freaks me out. In my country they often depict dead cartoon characters with X's over their eyes so it's a bit too close for me. It's just something I'll get used to as I think there are others who make that face too. He's very pretty though.

Yup 6 characters - I have all of the colors released of Tama Paradise now.

I am sure there are many opinions about Paradise, but I really love them. They finally bring back the idea of virtual pets meaning actual animals and unique original characters. I always loved that about the original Tamagotchi. As much as I enjoy my Meets and my Mix, they sure do have a lot of humanoid characters on them. Paradise is a welcome change away from the human characters. It's ok to have some, but I am an animal lover and definitely welcome back this change in Paradise.

I've heard of people who complain non-stop about the Paradise not being on Wifi and I get it.. it's a whole other kind of Tamagotchi. It has no online participation things like contests in the arena like on Uni.

Anyone who reads this that doesn't like Paradise I encourage you to pick up an original P1 or P2 1990s Tamagotchi. Play through a few times and you will understand how the original has a lot of the basic same idea. Only Paradise has quite a few more things to it that are more similar to some of more recent Tama's over these past 15 years or so.

At it's core I find Paradise to have a much stronger foundation of caretaking than Uni (for example). Uni has a lot of other strong areas like changing clothing and room decorations and the UniVerse thingies of course. Paradise to me is more about meeting new characters and playing more games and creating a whole world full of Tamagotchi. A world that you don't have to say goodbye to a beloved character, instead they can hang out with another future character. And there's so much more I love about this Tama.

Just like other Tama versions, you choose how you enjoy them and each have different exciting elements that may appeal to one type of person, and not to other types.

Yes I will be finishing up my Paradise section, but I just wanted to say if you loved the original Tama, try a Tama Paradise, I think you will enjoy them - particulary if you enjoy animals more than humanoid characters.

Oh one other thing.. I did participate in a Tamagotchi collectors group contest and managed to do the whole thing. I got Mametchi, whom I still have now. I think the winner was to be announced today but I couldn't find the post. I don't have any messages so I assume I didn't win. I just wanted to participate in one since I have not before. The next contest (that started already) is for raising humanoid characters and... if you've read this whole log.. you know that I just noped right on out of that one ha haha
