Time sure went by fast this year. I can't believe it's June! What happened to the time??

One thing that has changed over these months.. I always take a couple of Tama's with me everywhere. The other day I had to make a fast trip and I left all of my Tama's at home.. I felt like I was missing a part of me! I kinda felt naked! So yeah.. I can't leave home without someone. This is how I used to be back in the 1990's and without realizing it, I am that way again.

It's nice to be able to do this without judgement or fear. Cay doesn't make me feel bad about it, no body has said anything bad about it either. I really don't think I would give a hoot if someone did say something mean about it. It's who I am, so I feel no need to explain it to closed minded people. And that feels nice. I used to always worry about judgement from others.

Cay is awesome really. She will tell me when a Tama beeps and bring them to me when I can't get back to them. She respects my love of Tamagotchi and keeps an eye out on ebay for me and totally supports me getting my original collection back, as well as getting many I missed out on. Cay is my one-of-a-kind soul sister. I have plenty to say about her in the future. I feel like I'm finally alive now that I live in Florida. And that is a statement I never imagined I would make LOL..

Anyway, when we are out driving in the world, I can collect the stickers as the Uni picks up all sorts of different Wifi signals around town. I know it's not a big part of the Uni, but it's fun seeing all sorts of different Tama friends.

I am excited for Tamagotchi Paradise! I have 2 on pre-order! I am not too thrilled with the shell look, but it's growing on me. And of course it's really the Tamagotchi program that matters. I do love that they are getting bigger! And they take batteries instead of the recharging battery like the Uni - a big plus in my book. I want my Tama's to be there in working order in 20 years from now (just like the 1996's), so changeable batteries are the way to go. I hope they have plenty of storage for items or whatever is collectable, or just hopefully more space than Uni has.

I have purposely not looked into TOO much detail about Paradise because I want to experience Paradise myself first hand. Part of the fun of Tamagotchi for me is the surprise of different events and things I can do with my Tama. I did see (very importantly to me) that Mimitchi is included in the character list. That brought me the biggest smile! Some older Tama's stopped including him, so it really is a relief to me that he is included. From the very beginning he has always been my buddy. It saddens me he wasn't included in every Tamagotchi, but it truly means a lot to me that he will be included in Tamagotchi Paradise. I love lots of the characters, but my connection to him is strong.

The twisty knoby thingy on the Tama Paradise is an interesting new way to allow interaction with them without adding a button or something less original. I like that kind of creativity. I must say.. I laughed so loudly when I saw the Tama Poo recycle swirly thingy! I so love it!

I would say my most favorite thing about Tamagotchi Paradise are the types of characters themselves. Tamagotchi, several years ago, invited in more human-styled characters and for me that was not really in tune with the originals. While they all have grown on me, I just love the unusual aliens and animals aspect the originals have. That was part of the charm. So it is so nice to see Bandai pivot away from the human-like characters and bring us back to the original theme.

I do like how they have taken some ideas from past Tamagotchi releases and included the best of those into this entirely new and unique Tamagotchi. It feels like a love letter to original 96/97 Tamagotchi fans like myself. I suspect Paradise is going to be really awesome.

I am so much looking forward to Tamagotchi Paradise! I'll definitely be writing here about them when I have them!
