I once got told that one should never collect something just for a future profit, but one should always enjoy and play with what one collects or it is seriously no fun to collect. I don't intend on being one of those people that sell off their collection 50 years from now for money. I collect because I love Tamagotchi, I love caring for them, I love them in general. So I can't say I am a collector in the traditional sense. Though I do have some duplicates and some in the box. Most of them are out of the box, but I have retained the packages. I didn't really think I would buy more than one when I first bought Mimitchi Tamagotchi, but I got this Tama-urge and I still have it, which is why I should stay away from auctions, sales and things like that!
