This month, The Minute Maid Company, makers of Hi-C® fruit drinks, is launching a national promotion in which kids have a chance to win instantly one of 5,000 special-edition Hi-C Furbys. Kids can look for the game piece inside the overwrap of specially marked Hi-C drink box 10-packs now on store shelves to find out if they're instant winners. Each 10-pack also includes a Furbish/English mini dictionary.

The special-edition Hi-C Furbys are gray with black dots, white tummies and black manes and tails -- a color combination available only through the Hi-C promotion. The promotion is an exclusive partnership between the makers of Hi-C fruit drinks and Tiger Electronics and is the first time special-edition Furbys are available.

``Hi-C is all about kids and fun, and there's nothing more fun right now than Furby,'' said Tony Palmer, vice president, kids beverages for The Minute Maid Company. ``We're excited to give kids a chance to win a special-edition Hi-C Furby.''

On-pack game pieces will be available generally until April 30, 1999 or while supplies last. There is no purchase necessary to play the Hi-C/Tiger Electronics Furby Instant-Win Game. For official rules and a free chance to play, send a hand-printed, self-addressed, stamped business-size envelope via first class mail to: Furby Instant Win Game Piece Request, PO Box 8188, Grand Rapids, MN 55745-8188.
