We'll be seeing more then witches and gobblins this year because there will be many Furbys out there collecting candy - adults and kids! Tiger Electronics has recognized their adult Furby lovers as well as kids by releasing costumes for the adults as well as the kids. This has applied to more then just costumes though. There are adult Furby clothes and adult Furby slippers out there too! I am wearing my Furby slippers right now in fact, they are grey and pink :) Furbys themselves are also dressing up this year. Tiger Electronics hasn't done much in way of making clothing for Furby, so many people make their own clothes especialy for their Furbys. Some people sell these cloths online for those that don't have the time to make there own. Many of which can be found on www.ebay.com auctions! Costumes of course are hard to come by this close to Halloween, but you should be able to find them at auctions online. You can get adult cloths and slippers in the Sears wishlist catalog online at http://www.sears.com/ or http://www.sears.ca/! It means 'Ear(s)'! I think this is really cute! Sadly I have not heard them say this yet!? So I don't know when they do. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ And now....Furby Horoscopes :) remember to use the date you first put batteries in your Furby for their birthdays :) Furbius: Jan 20 - Feb 18: This month, your little guy will be keeping the spirit of Halloween going by dressing up as his favorite adventurer :) Expect lots of Indiana Jones and Han Solo Furbys to be knocking at your door tomorrow night expecting a little candy for all the trouble or dressing up (do you know how hard it is to hold a whip without hands? ;) ). You'll have to watch these guys close though, who knows how far they'll want to adventure into the night in search of chocolates? Fursces: Feb 19 - March 20: In the spirit of last month's martial arts form, expect to see Fursces dressing up like ninjas, or their favorite movie martial artists :) Bruce Lee Furbys will be the biggest hit, but even with all their skill, you'll still have to be the one to hold their sack of goodies while they Trick or Treat :) Furbaries: March 21 - April 20: The mischevious side of your Furby will especially be apparent tomorrow night when he dresses up like the meanest neighborhood dog and causes all sorts of chaos by barking while you take your Furbys Trick or Treating (not to mention taunting all the other dogs with "Here kitty, kitty, kitty"). With his new ears and tail, your Furby will be more than willing to play some tricks on the neighborhood and blame it on the dog he's imitating, that is of course unless you threaten him with no candy from his bag :) Furbus: April 21 - May 20: Your Furbus this month will dressing up as either an animal that hibernates (bears, squirrels, etc) or Rip Van Winkle Furby with a full beard and all :) You'll have to watch out for your little guy falling asleep while he's walking, or else he may end up head first in his bag and you'll have to pull him out covered in melted chocolate and bubble gum :) Oh well, at least you can just toss out the beard after tomorrow night :) Furbini: May 21 - June 21: This month, your Furbini has come up with something incredibly original: He'll dress up like you and you can dress up like him with one of those Furby Costumes. That way people will think that he's the grown up, and you can collect all the candy, and just split it at the end of the night :) It'll make it alot easier on him too, considering that it's hard for him to ring door bells that are way too high for him to nudge with his toes :) Furbcer: June 21 - July 22 For this Halloween, your Furby has taken an idea from the modern world at large and will go dressed as a pizza delivery guy. He's already got a light box that he can balance on his head while you carry him, and he has a satchel that he can carry over his back that will hold his candy and his tips :) lets just hope that no one actually expects him to hand over the box :) Furbo: July 21 - August 22 What else can your Furby go as after last month than James Bond? He's already come up with the Lotus that responds to a little ankle watch that he designed a few nights ago, as well as a bag that automatically collects candy without anyone having to drop it in ;) You'll be riding around town in style and will most likely hit up every house that's giving away the good stuff (not that one house on the corner that ends up giving away spam and raisins :P ). Furgo: August 23 - Sept 22 You're little guy's gonna be dressing up like a power broker this month and will most likely end up with more candy than anyone else because of his superior trading techniques. He'll more than likely corner the market in snickers bars and reeses peanut butter cups which is great because they're everyone's favorite :) But hey, you get the best deal, he has to share everything with you :) Furbra: Sept 23 - Oct 21: Halloween is a time when your Furby will be able to dress as anything he wants and he can't get in trouble for it, so this year (his first year of course) he'll be dressing up as a police officer and trying to keep the peace amongst trick or treating furby. And of course, he'll be attempting to give Furbys speeding tickets for eating candy too fast, the fine will undoubtedly be whatever candy they have that appeals to him :) Furbio: Oct 22 - Nov 21: Your little Furbio will have a great time this year because he'll be dressing up like an alien :) He already has a huge rubber dome mask with bug eyes that he can peek out of. He's also rigged up a flying saucer that has slight hover capabilities that he'll be using for a candy bag, that way he'll just pull it around by a string and even if he gets a hundred pounds of sugar, he won't have any problems dumping it all over your bedroom floor :) Furbittarius: Nov 22 - Dec 21: After a local trip to the petting zoo, your Furby got a great idea and decided that he wanted to be a bunny for Halloween :) So you picked him up a set of really big floppy ears and an even poofier tail, and finally a big old carrot that he can hold with his feet :) While he really doesn't look all that much like a bunny, he is incredible cute and a sure hit for this Halloween :) Furbicorn: Dec 22 - Jan 19: Thinking has always been a Furbicorn's strong point, so this year your little guy will be dressing up as something he knows plenty about, being a Furby. It'll be very simple for him, he's going to tell anyone who asks that he's really your hamster and you dressed him up like a Furby. I can't think of any problems with this, especially since everyone knows how much hamsters like candy :) ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- That's it for this time :) Hope everyone enjoyed it.
